After the coaching has finished enjoy food and drink and a chance to take part in a Parent and Junior Darts Competition. Please see Jackie for more details if you have not heard about this already.

SUNDAY 12th JUNE
ALCESTER STREET MARKET
We are holding a stand in the Alcester Street Market-Beach Theme. We will be doing Beach Cricket for the kids and adults to try and hit the wickets. Also fun games and a range of prizes for all ages.
We will need juniors to help with the kids cricket and all members to help donate any prizes to give out on the day, please notify the Fundraising Committee, via Stephen Capron on 07969 706711 if you are able to help at all on the day. Prizes can be left in the clubhouse.

SUNDAY 17th JULY
ANNUAL PUB 6 A SIDE TOURNAMENT
This popular event, held in memory of former Ragley player Mike Sunderland, is now in its 15th year in 2011. It attracts teams from most of the pubs in Alcester and this year there may even be a team from Alcester Court Leet – hopefully playing in all their finery! We will require help all through the day, starting at 9am and finishing at approx 7pm, to run the bar, the BBQ, umpiring, scoring and many other things. Please let Steve Coombs know if you are able to help even if just for an hour. This event is one of the main fund raisers for the club so it would be good to see different people helping out this year.
                           
FRIDAY 9th SEPTEMBER
CLUB AWARDS PRESENTATION EVENING
This evening is the chance for all the teams and players at Ragley, juniors and seniors, to celebrate our successes during the season. The evening will be held in the marquee at the club, where there will be awards, drinking and some entertainment afterwards to be decided. This evening is free to attend for all players, members and their friends and families, to support the award winners. We are also hoping to have a speaker for the evening to help us present the awards and give us a motivational talk ahead of the next season to achieve even bigger and better things!

SATURDAY 10th SEPTEMBER
SUMMER FUNDRAISER BLACK TIE BALL

This is the event of the year, adding Black Tie/Dress attire to the evening to make it more special.
The Ball is to promote the fundraising of the club but also to celebrate with everybody from club members to local supporters. As the evening was so popular last year, we are having 15 tables of 10 places to accommodate demand.

There will be a Grand Raffle with amazing prizes, also a champagne reception, 2 course hot and cold buffet, live music and lots & lots of socialising.

TICKETS ARE £30 each, £16 CONSESSION 16-18yrs

This year we are doing set places on tables, so if you want to book a table of 10 please furnish us with all 10 people’s names so we can reserve the table / seats accordingly.

TICKETS MUST BE PAID IN FULL UPFRONT, TO AVOID DISAPOINTMENT.
A £10 PER PERSON DEPOSIT CAN BE TAKEN FOR LARGE BOOKINGS (10 people or more), but payment must be made in full at least 2 weeks prior to the night of the Ball.


SATURDAY NOVEMBER/ DECEMBER
NEW LOOK RAGLEY CRICKET XMAS PARTY/ DINNER DANCE
This is still to be held at Kings Court Hotel, but with a buffet and disco and no it won’t be “Terry Nutkins” as the DJ this year! A much less formal evening than previously – details to be confirmed in the near future. All ideas for what you want in this evening please let us know.

ST NICHOLAS XMAS MARKET
We have a stall for this festive event; we will be selling cricket scenery calendars (Best of Local Cricket Scenes) for 2012
Also the fantastic cricket photos of the ground, hot soup and rolls.
