Dorridge & Hockley Heath 261 for 6 beat 2nd XI 131 all out by 130 runsD

Alcester & Ragley 2nd XI suffered their first defeat of the season against Dorridge and Hockley Heath last Saturday. A partnership of 110 for their fourth wicket set Dorridge and HH on their way to an impressive 261 for 6 after 45 overs. Only Ollie Swinburn and Mike Bennett who each bowled their 10 overs for 34 and 39 respectively, managed to contain the Dorridge and HH batsmen.In reply none of the Alcester & Ragley batsmen settled and wickets fell regularly and A & R closed at 131 all out. This coming weekend A & R 2nd XI face another tough challenge against Bearley who scored in excess of 300 runs last weekend
