Alcester & Ragley 2nd (266-5) beat Norton Lindsey 2nd (201) all out by 65 runs

Ragley 2nds made it a double win over Norton Lindsey as they recorded their 1st win of the season. They were indebted to Adam Devey who hit a magnificent 150 not out in his side’s total of 266-5. This was his 1st league century and his 4th for the club and included 6 sixes and 16 fours. He was ably supported in his knock by James Thomas (46) and Curtis Clark (25) as all the Norton bowlers suffered at the hands of Devey.

In reply Norton ended on 201 all out in 43 overs. Geoff Reader claimed 2-50 on his return from injury and the other successful bowlers were Mike Bennett 3-25 and Oliver Swinburn 2-30. This win lifts Ragley 2nds off the bottom of the table.
